    Description

    ARCADE, PULLMAN, ILLINOIS, (Chicago) 1907 POSTCARD VIEW FROM STREET, 3 MEN AT ENTRANCE, OLD AND NEW SECTIONS.  Appears to be new construction with 2-story wings and 3-story center section, tree obscures right half of building.  Three men are posed for the photo near front entrances.  At right in tiny light blue letters:  MANUFACTURED BY CURT TEICH & CO., CHICAGO, ILL.  Postcard is clean, colorful, has just light wear, light 3/8" crease L.R. corner and also on left edge.  Postcard is 3 1/2" X 5 7/16".  Undivided back with postmark:  CHICAGO ILL   SEP 3 1907 4 PM.  Postmarked (Rec'd) PEKIN ILL    SEP 4 1907   7:30 AM.  WOW!  How's that for fast service, 100 years ago.  This quality. collectible postcard is in very fine condition otherwise.
