Antique Large Ride of Pony Horse on Wheels by Steiff

This Early 20th Century Ride On Toy was skillfully crafted, and very well made by Steiff. This Ride On Pony came out of a collectors estate, which featured sought after pieces by Steiff – It was quite an impressive collection. Each wheel rolls freely, and the metal frame is completely intact. Steiff made a few different sized Ride On Horses in this style, this is the largest of its kind - measuring 35.5 inches tall. You will notice mild moth damage to the pile as well as a hole on the left face side. Both eyes are missing, as well as one of the ears. The original hay fill is still firm and is exceptionally heavy.
